Brandied Cherry Sidecar Recipe

After cooking up a batch of tasty Brandied Cherries last week, I had a bunch of leftover brandied cherry juice. After some tinkering, I created this tasty Sidecar variation. It’s a little spicy, a little sweet and a lot fantastic.

Brandied Cherry Sidecar Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 ounce brandied cherry sauce (recipe) or brandy (we like Korbel)
  • 1/2 ounce Cointreau
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Garnish: 2-3 brandied cherries – (recipe)

Directions

  1. Fill cocktail shaker with ice, combine lemon juice, brandied cherry juice, Cointreau, and simple syrup
  2. Shake for about 30 seconds, until cocktail is chilly
  3. Strain into coupe glass, garnish with brandied cherries
